Mineral: Calcium
Benefits: In addition to building strong bones and teeth, calcium helps liver, muscles and heart to function properly.

Mineral: Magnesium
Benefits: Essential for healthy functioning of the nerves, muscles and heart, magnesium helps regulate the body’s production of protein and energy.

Mineral: Sodium Chloride
Benefits: Found in high concentrations at the Dead Sea, sodium chloride may help treat arthritis, central nervous system diseases and orthopedic disorders.

Mineral: Sulfur ( our mineral water is odorless )
Benefits: Inhaling the vapors of sulfur-rich water soothes the mucus membranes, helping to get rid of colds and treat respiratory troubles. Sulfur can also improve skin conditions, including eczema and dermatitis.

The Effects

Dr. Robert Bingham, who heads the Desert Hot Springs Arthritis and Medical Clinic

The desert climate is perfect… you don’t see pollens, you don’t see pesticides and herbicides… the air is purer; we have a favorable altitude about 900 feet high. When you go in the pool at 102° to 104°F, you increase the flow of blood through your body… about two or three times what the ordinary flow of blood. If a person exercises in the pool, you’re getting two or three times as much blood, more oxygen, more white blood cells, repairs cells and relieves the inflammation and damage that arthritis does to the bones and joints.
